Problem :
Teams struggled to track meaningful user actions because setup required code changes, so instrumentation was slow, brittle, and often wrong.

I led design for Visual Labeler, a point and click way to define events directly on top of the live UI. Users open their product inside Amplitude, hover to see suggested elements, select what matters, then name and categorize the event without touching code. The experience is familiar to PMs and marketers, so instrumentation becomes part of their workflow instead of something they wait for engineering resources.
Impact :
Teams went from days to hours to stand up reliable tracking for new features, and more non technical teammates contributed to event instrumentation. Visual Labeler became a primary entry point into Amplitude Easy, pairing with auto capture so customers could quickly move from raw events to a clean, intentional tracking plan.
